The roof tile had broken off with frost damage. we set up a scaffold and set up a platform set on sponges to prevent any more damage to the roof. Old rosemary roof tiles are very weak and if we access the roof on a cat ladder or ladder without any protection we cause more damage. we removed tile and installed a new clay ridge tile and pointed up we then repaired the tiles that had beed damaged when the tile blew from the roof.
