Concrete path to new offices

Dig out and install a new concrete path to new industrial unit in Ashton, Tameside

we dug out and made timber frames to poor the concrete into for precise pathways as built for wheelchair access.

Roofing sheet loose and blowing around in the wind on industrial roof

We removed a section off the factory ceiling to see the hole in roof.

Then we set up a scaffold to the damaged sheet and removed it. 

The new big six fibber glass roofing was then installed from inside to save time and safety reasons.

all work was done in 1 day and no work was stopped in the factory.

Apply Fireproof Paint to Steel Work

Fire Proof paint was applied to all RSJ that was connected to the brickwork to prevent collapse off steel and walls if a fire was to start.

Stud out with timbers. 

Apply SBR and cement mix to bond the new concrete to the old. 

 Mix and lay concrete slab made from Grano dust and sand and cement.

Water leaking inside the brick wall

Cast Iron damaged downpipes

We replaced the damaged cast iron downpipes. they were leaking from inside the wall so we had to remove the brickwork to find the joints that had cracked. we replaced the old cast iron with black soil pipe and rebuilt the wall and patched pointed below where the water had caused damage to the industrial unit wall in hyde. 

Blocked Lead Valley

Clean out Debris From Lead valley

Call out and remove the debris from the lead valley. the blockage had caused the water to back up and overflow the lead and enter the attic then bedroom. We was able to clean out the valley and gutter the same day to prevent any water damage to the house.

Scaffold to Fix Loose Bargeboards

Wind and poor fixings had caused the barge boards to become loose and was in danger of falling. We set up a scaffold to gable end and fixed the bargeboard back in place with industrial quality fixings so the problem wont happen again.

Lintel Re-placement

The gable window was leaking when it had rained on the brick wall. we could see the old steel intel had rusted and expanded causing gaps. The cavity felt tray behind must have failed otherwise water would not of entered above the window. we removed bricks and the rusty steel lintel we could then see the bitumen felt had failed as we thought. we fitted a new cavity tray, lintel and relayed the bricks inserting drip cassettes to allow water to leave the cavity.   

Cement verge to gable end on rosemary roof.

Tameside roofer re-bed the tiles on gable of the roof

The cement verge had become loose and mortar and tiles were slipping off the roof. we set up a scaffold and striped back the rosemary tiles. We then cleaned the joint and tiles and applied SBR bonding glue. A sand and cement mix with bonding agents and additives was mixed and we then bedded all the tiles back in place and pointed up.
